About
Project Mow started in the summer of 2016 to promote sheep grazing as an environmentally-forward alternative to conventional land management. Project Mow advocates sustainable land stewardship, with the Permaculture concept in mind: Care for the Earth, Care for the People, and Return of Surplus.
The head shepherd of Project Mow, Yuko Frazier, is a part-time sheep shepherd, a full-time landscape project manager, and keep a small homestead with pigs, chickens, ducks, dogs and a animal lover husband. The projects of the Season 2016 include various residential sites in Ypsilanti and Ann Arbor, MI. In November of 2016 , the City of Ypsilanti awarded Project Mow with a contract to maintain the public parks. |
